Your 2-hour tour begins in Virpazar from where you will travel through the river channel surrounded by lotus flowers and cane before reaching the open lake. Throughout your boat tour, explore islands which are protected by UNESCO, fishing villages, and hidden passages, among other attractions. Skadar Lake is a treasure trove for a large number of birds which you will see during the tour. As you travel, your knowledgeable guide will also dig into the lake's history through providing expert commentary. There will be some free time to enjoy a refreshing swim on the open lake or on the private beach, following which you can enjoy a refreshing drink on board. At the conclusion of your experience, return to Virpazar.

Just 10 or 15 minutes after departure and leaving the city, we will immerse ourselves in another world, the canyon of the Morača river, which leaves you breathless with its cliffs and depth of over 1000 m. Driving for about 40 minutes with a couple of stops in the most interesting parts of the canyon, we will enjoy the view of the clear water of the river, and the canyon that the river have been carving through the limestone areas for centuries. After around 1 hour from the start of the tour, we will reach one of the oldest and most interesting monasteries in Montenegro, the Morača Monastery. Built in the middle of the 13th century, for centuries a religious but also an educational center of a part of the country, known for its significant role in the liberation of Montenegro from the Ottoman Empire, it will tell us a lot about the history of the country and the way of life in these parts. Built in a very interesting place, where the river flows, the stream, in the immediate vicinity of the waterfall, with a nice yard, surrounded by old forests is a wonderful sight to see. And the interior of the monastery is a story itself. Frescoes and icons made by the best artists will bring you closer to the aesthetic scope of Byzantine artistic expression. After visiting the monastery, we continue to the north of Montenegro, a region known for its high mountains, old forests, rivers, glacial lakes and the mountain lifestyle. We will enjoy a panoramic drive through the mountainous regions and along the banks of the famous Tara River until we reach the Biogradska Gora National Park and its pearl, Biogradsko Lake. The park is particularly famous for its old forest, one of only a few larger intact forests in Europe, rich flora and beautiful glacial lakes. We will enjoy walking along the easy path around the lake, admire the impressive examples of woody flora, discover other typical representatives and breathe fresh mountain air. The park is also a great place for a picnic or tasting local specialties in a nearby restaurant after a nice walk. In the end, before we head back to Podgorica, it would be a shame not to visit and get to know the Montenegrin mountain center, the charming town of Kolašin, famous for its ski resort, Bjelasica Mountain, tango festival, significant historical role in the struggle for the liberation of Montenegro, but also for quality alcoholic drinks and delicious homemade food.

Visit the Moraca Monastery, a mystical sacral edifice surrounded, like a medieval fortress, with high stonewalls. Inside, find sleeping quarters that can tell you some legend from this area. According to one legend, this monastery was made of special yellow stone, which is found in the area very far from the place where the monastery actually is. According to this legend, people from this area made a column, which was tens of kilometers long, and in that way turned the stone from hand to hand from the place called Tusine, the place where the stone was located, to the present monastery Moraca. See the spectacular Moraca River Canyon, mostly famous because of one of the most unique and the most interesting roads in the world. Road E65 with countless cliff-side bends and tunnels, this road will amaze you in every way. Along the very edge of this tight canyon, the highway is built to connect Podgorica and Kolasin.

After leaving SOUTH, we drive into the breathtaking Moraca Gorge passing capital city Podgorica, until we reach the first town in the north, Kolasin, amazing quiet and cold north city. Than we continue to drive to the Biograd lake.(tickets for national park are not included in price) You can hike around the lake (optional). The hike takes 1 hour. About the lake and national park Biogradska Gora: (The most popular symbol of "Biogradska Gora National Park" is Biograd Lake, which is located in the heart of the rainforest at an altitude of 1094m, making it the largest glacial lake on the mountain of Bjelasica. Being one of the UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserves, this area has one of the last three large virgin rainforests in Europe. The forest covers an area of 1,600 hectares, representing a biological treasury, some of tries are over 400 years old, has been confirmed so far.) You will never regret this trip. Promise! Itinerary: • Departure by appointment. Driving towards Cetinje – 45 min to 1 hour and 30 min, depending on the place – city of departure. • We will walk through the historical part of this town. We will visit the Cetinje Monastery, pass next to Ćipuri church, Biljarda, King Nikola’s museum, the Presidential Palace and take a walk on the main pedestrian street – approx. 1 hour. • Driving to Ostrog monastery – approx. 1 hour. • Coffee break and/or breakfast at the restaurant on the way to the monastery – optionally (approx. 30 min). • Arrival at Ostrog monastery. Free time for sightseeing of the Upper and Lower monastery. In the Upper monastery we will bow to the relics of the great Saint Vasily Ostroški and hear incredible tales of Ostrog miracles (approx. 1h and 30 min). • Driving to Morača monastery – approx. 1 hour. • Free time for sightseeing and enjoying peace and enchanting ambience of Morača monastery – approx. 45 min. • Lunch at the restaurant on the way to the place of accommodation – optionally (approx. 1h). • Return.
