Overall rating
Make sure to arrive a few minutes early at Glacier Bay meeting point as this group is on the opposite side of the cafe and bathrooms than all other guides. This is very nice and convenient for parking and finding your correct vehicle. They provide crampons and helmets, which are all you need in addition to warm clothes and boots. This experience far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend.
Our guide Martin was very kind and professional. The tour is well organized, it is definitely an experience to try. The only problem is that the price is a bit too exaggerated (however lower than other tour operators in the area). Thanks Martin for having guided us in the best way in this experience, definitely if you have the desire to try it I would recommend this tour operator.
Unfortunately I cannot remember the name of our guide but she was from Spain and was extremely knowledgeable, considerate of all team members and her passion and wonder at the nature of the glacier was contagious. We fortunately had a great day of weather and the glacier itself was awe inspiring. Overall a highlight of our trip to Iceland!
Amazing tour guide who was very knowledgeable and prepared. He shared so many resources with us, and even took us to a unique spot that wasn’t on the itinerary. Our driver made us feel very safe despite a bad snow storm that came through on our drive home.
Beautiful scenery and definitely worth it. On the other hand, there are many hours of bus travel but it is understandable given the tour.
