Explore the windmill village of Kinderdijk, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. See museum mills and a pumping station, then glide across the polders on a tour boat.


Journey back through time to a world of old Dutch windmills. Stroll through the centuries-old buildings of a delightful village, and see fascinating exhibits from different historical eras.


Visit two museum mills and a pumping station. There's also an interactive scavenger hunt for kids, an informative film and exhibition, and an online guide with audio tours to make the most of your visit.


Then, clamber aboard one of the inclusive tour boats. Glide across the polder waters as the many windmills of the village drift past.

  • The last boat departs half an hour before closing time.
  • 1 March - 3 November we are open from 9:00am until 5:30pm
  • 4 November - December we are open from 10:30am until 4pm

I’ve been to Netherlands several times and this day trip to Kinderdijik was one of the highlights of all my trips. It was wonderful walking around the windmills, getting to go in and explore - felt like time travel honestly. Had a wonderful time honestly, 100% recommend
