Please contact us the evening before to discuss the time of collection. That went smoothly and I was able to use the driver directly. I was alone so I really had a private safari. Had a good drive to Tsavo East and on the way to the hotel had a nice game drive and saw a lot. The hotel was also very good and complete. I must have also been lucky with the game drives because the elephants playing in the water, the lions and to top it all off, the two young leopards that walked right past the car were a very special detour.

Full description

Day 1: Mombasa / Diani- Tsavo East

You will be picked from your Hotel at 5.00am in the morning, drive along Mombasa Nairobi highway and arrive at Bachuma gate at around 9:00 am. Here you will begin your game watch. Visit various places including Aruba Dam (the waterhole built by british Army 1952 during Colonial time.)

After the game drive, you will check in at the Lodge in time for lunch. After lunch you will relax till 4 :00 pm and then begin an evening game drive until sundown.

Later is dinner and overnight stay at Voi Safari lodge.

Day 2: Tsavo East – Mombasa, Diani Beach

Wake up early in the morning and have breakfast then checkout, proceed with a game drive enroute to the gate. Then exit and start the drive to Diani or the airport .

You will arrive in the afternoon which marks the end of the tour.

  • Transport in a customized safari vehicle with a pop up roof for easier game viewing
  • All meals as per itinerary(1 lunches, 1 Dinner and 1 Breakfast)
  • Entrance fee to Tsavo East National park
  • Accommodation at Voi safari lodge
