We pick you up from Kemi and Haparanda-Tornio hotels/stations and drive 15-30 min to suitable Aurora station. We check the sky, moon, stars and Auroras when they occur. The professional guide will teach you the basics of Aurora hunting via apps in Northern regions. You get also insights to the history of Kemi and Sea Lapland region. Possibility for photoshootings. Past years 2021 - 2024 we have reached the level that over 90% of our Hunt and Chase groups catch the Auroras during their visit in Lapland. Our unique expertise is based on persistent research of the Auroras and the apps predicting the occurrence of Northern Lights in specific regions. We also finetune the starting times and even recommend our customers to cancel with full refund those Hunts and Chases when the chances are too low for catching the Greens. Please note that the Aurora Borealis / Northern Lights are natural phenomenon and therefore sighting cannot be guaranteed. We have over 20 Aurora stations and visual control over Sea Lapland so we can drive there where the open sky is available. Our main product is The Hunt where you scan the sky in one Aurora station. Meet your guide at a central point in Kemi and get set up with you gear. First check that the ski equipment fits and then hit on the tracks of Sauvosaari Sports Park. The guide will teach you the basics of skiing while you get to enjoy the beautiful scenery and Arctic atmosphere of Kemi city. Historically cross-country skiing has been the national sport of Finland and also the only way of reaching school and work after heavy snowfalls. Learn to ski or go sight-skiing safely with a professional skiing instructor!

After equipment delivery and safety issues at Snowcastle area we first enter and cross the Ostrobothnian Sea ice 0,8 km to the Old Kemi Laitakari island. The guide will teach you the basics of moving on the ice and snowy conditions. When reaching Laitakari you get to visit the Old Kemi historical industrial monuments of the now deserted sawmill and the village ruins. Guide will show you the Kemi's real history when visiting the island. Laitakari was inhabited and established before Kemi city was born and after Laitakari mill's success the Russian Emperor Alexander II decided to build the Kemi city. After the historical visit to the origin of Kemi we trek back. Icetrek consists of total 2 - 3 km walking on sea ice and flat terrain.

Experience the arctic night and darkness by driving through the snow-covered forest and on the frozen over Bothnian Bay. With a little luck, we have a bright sky – the moon and the stars, maybe even the Aurora Borealis – the northern lights – showing us the way. We'll begin by gathering at the safari house to dress up in warm winter clothing. Your guide will give you a short security briefing and show you how to operate the snowmobile. Next you'll follow your guide on a route through the snow-covered forests and over the frozen sea. Before returning to the safari house we will stop to warm up and enjoy hot drinks by a campfire.

Full skiing equipment set(s) or snowshoes delivered to your hotel, accommodation etc. in Sea Lapland area. Test skiing on your own or take longer tour. Visit Sea Lapland outdoor areas like Mansikkanokka, Takajärvi, Kalli or Riekkola area. Also tips available where to go off for skiing or snowshoeing on your nearest location. Skiing and snowshoeing are traditional Finnish ways of going to school and work. Enjoy the pure nature of Lapland. Ski on the sea, snowhike in the forest or glide in on the prepared tracks around Kemi and HaparandaTornio. Return the equipment on your accommodation or determined destination.

One of the most stunning phenomena of winter nature is the Northern Lights dancing in the northern skies. Seeing the Northern Lights and the bright starry sky in cities and near roads is increasingly difficult due to light pollution. In the Baltic Sea off Ii, there are fewer light sources, so on a clear evening or night, you can observe a truly interesting sky. From around the turn of the year until the beginning of February, the excursion can start in the evening at around 18.00, later in spring the departure is around 20.00. Best time to start the trip is around sunset. The excursion will be tailored to you and your group, so you can enjoy the natural surroundings and the atmosphere created by the darkness in complete tranquillity. The excursion proceeds by snowmobile and sleigh to an area suitable, where we can admire the sea and the nearby islands in the sunset light. We'll build a fire in the mobile fire pit so you can stay warm and roast a picnic lunch if you wish. Searching for Northern Lights requires stopping for a moment, so there's no rush to get anywhere. You'll need to be careful though, as once the fires appear in the sky they can fade very quickly. Remember that even on a clear night, the Northern Lights will not appear every time. On the other hand, when sky activity is high, it can be cloudy. So we also need luck. If the ice conditions don't allow sledging, we can make the trip on foot. The location will be chosen according to the snow conditions. In case of bad ice conditions, the excursion will be cancelled or modified. If the ice conditions are bad, the excursion will be cancelled or postponed or cancelled. Please dress very warmly for the excursion, wearing layers and windproof clothing. Wear a few pair of socks. We'll begin by gathering at the safari house to dress up in warm winter clothing. After dressing up we hop in the car for a transfer to the husky kennel. The kennel staff will give you safety instructions and show you the ropes on how to handle a dog sled. This is a self driving safari where two people share a sled taking turns mushing. The 5km trail runs over the frozen lands and swamps and the pure nature of Sea Lapland. After the ride we'll warm up with warm drinks and get to learn about everyday life with the Alaskan huskies. You'll be given time to pet the dogs and take photos with them before returning back to the safari house.

Day 1: Arrival in Helsinki Arrive in Helsinki, and our team will transfer you to the train station. If time permits, we will take you on a Helsinki city tour to explore the highlights of the Finnish capital. After the tour, board your train to Lapland. Day 2: Arrival in Lapland Arrive in Lapland at 8:50 AM. Our team will transfer you to your accommodation. Once you've checked in and stored your baggage, we will head to a Reindeer Farm for a sled ride and the opportunity to feed the reindeer. After the reindeer farm experience, we will drop you off at the city center for lunch. Later, we will return you to your accommodation to relax. Day 3: Santa Claus Village & Northern Lights Enjoy a hearty breakfast. We will then take you to Santa Claus Village, where you can meet Santa Claus, cross the Arctic Circle, and send postcards from the official Arctic Post Office. In the evening, return to Ruka and prepare for your Northern Lights tour. Day 4: Husky Ride & Ski Center Start your day with a delicious breakfast. Today, we will visit a Husky Farm for a thrilling husky ride through the snowy wilderness. After the ride, you will be dropped off at a ski center for lunch or shopping, giving you some free time to explore. In the evening, we will return to your accommodation and take you on another Northern Lights tour. Day 5: Oulanka National Park & Snowmobiling After breakfast, we will take you to Oulanka National Park, one of the most beautiful places in Ruka Kuusamo, known for its frozen rivers and breathtaking landscapes. After exploring Oulanka, we will go on an exciting snowmobiling ride through the stunning Arctic terrain. In the evening, we will return you to your accommodation. Day 6: Icebreaker Cruise & Ice Floating in Kemi After breakfast, we will head to Kemi for an unforgettable Icebreaker Cruise. Enjoy the experience of ice floating in the frozen sea, a unique Arctic adventure. In the evening, we will return you to your accommodation. Day 7: Ranua Wildlife Park & Departure Have breakfast and check out of your accommodation. We will take you to the Ranua Wildlife Park, where you will have the opportunity to meet polar bears and other Arctic animals. After the visit, we will drop you off at the train station for your return train journey to Helsinki.

Next you'll follow your guide on a route over the frozen sea to find the perfect ice fishing spot. Warm drinks will be served during the fishing experience to keep you nice and cozy.

Experience the beauty of the arctic nature with a guided snowshoe trek. Snowshoeing provides you the opportunity to head off the beaten path into the untouched snow covered winter wonderland. Warm up in a traditional Lappish hut, where our guides will teach you about local wildlife. If you're lucky you might be able to spot some forest critters along the way! We'll begin by gathering at the safari house to dress up in warm winter clothing. Next we'll take a short transfer to the starting point where we'll put on our snowshoes and head into the wilderness. Before returning back we will stop to warm up and enjoy hot drinks by a campfire.
