Explore Chobe National Park, One of the best game-viewing experiences and a must-do safari tour once you travel to Botswana. It is renowned for its variety of wildlife and particularly the large herds of elephants that can often be seen in the park and along the Chobe River. The tour departs daily from Victoria Falls town [Zimbabwe] & Livingstone town in Zambia to the Chobe National Park in Botswana. Upon pick up, Your guide will drive you about 1 hour to Kazungula border between Zimbabwe and Botswana, You will do our immigration formalities. The tour starts with the morning game cruise along Chobe River. Around the afternoon, you will have buffet lunch at the Chobe Safari Lodge/Chobe Marina Lodge. After lunch, you will board our open 4X4 safari vehicles for an afternoon game drive in the Chobe National Park where you will have the opportunity to enjoy an abundance of wildlife. This is one of the perfect chance to spot and search for the big 5. The day depends on guide knowledge of game, you can start with a game drive in an open 4 x 4 vehicle and finish with a boat cruise or vice versa. This depends on animal movement on the particular days.

After pickup from your accommodation in Kasane, travel to the Chobe National Park, aiming to be at the gates by 6 AM. Please remember to bring $15 for entry into the park. Once in the park, hop in a custom built 4x4 safari vehicle, with open sides offering exceptional views, then set off on your game drive with a qualified safari guide. With your guide's local experience and knowledge, learn about the park's distinct ecosystem and its diverse range of animals. Enjoy a fantastic opportunity for photographers to capture wildlife in a stunning landscape. You are welcome to ask your guide to go searching for certain birdlife, wildlife, or unique areas within the park. Once your 3 hours are up, you'll be returned to your lodge in Kasane, kazungula and Lesoma areas.

Itinerary Day 1 Arrival at airport .Kindly buy a KAZA visa or a double entry visa at the port of entry to Zimbabwe. Meet and greeting by our uniformed driver guide and transfer to hotel in an air conditioned mini bus with bottled water provided. 1430 hrs pick up from the hotel to explore one of the seven natural wonders of the world , Victoria Falls waterfalls. This is a 2 hrs walking tour with a guide and traveler to pay park entry fees . During the high water season (Feb-Jul) expect to be socked and get a raincoat . Experience the sprays and cover the 1708 meters wide chasm( devil's cataract falls, main falls, horseshoe falls, rainbow falls, armchair falls and eastern cataract falls) while you see small game (monkeys, baboons, warthogs , bushbucks and lots of amazing birds . During the afternoon you enjoy rainbows all the way . For flower lovers you get to learn more in this small park. After the tour your are taken back to the hotel. Day 2 0710 hrs pick up from the hotel and drive for an hour to Kazungula border between Botswana and Zimbabwe. Bring your passports and valid visa. Driving along the Zambezi national park gives you a chance to see some game . You exit Zmbabwe and meet your guide from Botswana for the Chobe national park tour. You do two activities for the day as (jeep safari on the Chobe national park and boat safari on the Chobe river). Lunch is included in between the activities. Chobe National park is unique as animal are found along the river giving a traveler an experience they will never forget. You are likely to see lions , elephants, buffalos, leopards, hippos, crocodiles, kudus, impalas, zebras, wilddogs and many more. For bird lovers chobe river will give you an enjoyable adventure. End the day with an afternoon activity and come back at the border around 1630 hrs and return to Zimbabwe . Back in Victoria Falls town around 1730 hrs . Day 3 transfer back to the airport in time of departure flight.

Be collected from your accommodation in Victoria Falls at 7:00 AM and begin an 80-kilometer journey through the countryside to the Kazungula border. At the border with Botswana, you will change vehicles. After passport control, take a short drive to the Chobe Marina Lodge for a short break. Once in the National Park, you will go on a game drive in an open vehicle. At 12:30 PM, return to have lunch. This will be served a la carte or buffet style with a selection of traditional and modern meals to choose from. After lunch, depart for the afternoon activity. This time board a cruise and you will be able to admire the wildlife from the water. At the end of the activity, commence your journey back to Victoria Falls and be dropped at your accommodation in the late afternoon, in time for dinner around 6:00 PM. 

Embark on a day trip to Chobe National Park from Victoria Falls. Be picked up from your hotel in Victoria Falls and transfer to the Kazungula border. Meet your Botswana guide and proceed to the morning cruise where you will spend the morning game-viewing along the Chobe River. After the cruise, go to a hotel on the riverbank for lunch. After lunch, board safari vehicles for an afternoon game drive in the Chobe National Park. Following this, be taken back to the Kazungula Border where you will be met by your Zimbabwean guide for your return transfer to Victoria Falls.

Our day starts at 9:00 am by meeting at Cafe Zambezi located in downtown Livingstone. From here we drive 16 km (25 min) to our first stop: Mukuni Village Let us know if you need transportation to our meeting location and we can coordinate to send you a driver (extra fee) Once at the villa you can interact with Leya people who are going to tell you about their daily lives. Unlike other villages that have been reconstructed specifically for tourists, Mukuni is still an authentic community. Along the way, culture enthusiasts can learn about the local customs and traditional building techniques from our guides and villagers. Our guides and the people of the village are more than happy to show visitors their huts and take you inside, explain how they are built and decorated, introduce you to various craftsmen and women at work. After the village visit we will take you to the Victoria Falls which is 10 km away - 15 min drive ( your ticket will be ready at your arrival ) where you will embrace the spray of mist from the thundering Falls on a guided tour of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Learn from us about the history and geology of the site as you watch the Zambezi River spilling over the rock cliffs into the Batoka Gorge below. We will also offer coaching on how to capture photos of the 5,604-feet (1,708-meter) wide, 354-feet (108 meters) high cascade.

Chobe National Park is renowned for its abundant elephant herds that frequent the Chobe River, particularly noticeable during the dry season when an estimated 85,000 elephants roam the park, with a significant concentration along the riverbanks. Our daily excursion to Chobe National Park in Botswana commences with clients being transferred to the Kazungula border, where they will meet their Botswana guide. From there, they will embark on a morning cruise along the Chobe River, enjoying wildlife sightings. Following the cruise, guests will relish lunch at a riverfront hotel. Subsequently, they will embark on an afternoon game drive within the park before returning to the Kazungula Border, where they will meet their Zimbabwean guide for the return transfer to Victoria Falls.

Day 3 - GROUP TOUR 6:30 AM – 7:00 AM: Pick up from your hotel in Victoria Falls and transfer to the Kazungula border post. 7:00 AM – 7:30 AM: Cross the border into Botswana and proceed to the Chobe National Park. 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM: Enjoy a morning game drive in an open safari vehicle, spotting animals like elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, and more. 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Stop for lunch at a lodge, enjoying a delicious meal and relaxing in the beautiful surroundings. 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM: Transfer to the Chobe River for a boat cruise, where you can see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Continue the boat cruise and witness the incredible wildlife along the Chobe River, including elephants crossing the river and interacting with each other. 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Return to the Kazungula border post and cross back into Livingstone. 5:00 PM – 5:30 PM: Drop off at your hotel in Livingstone (included in your package). Day 4 - Pickup from your hotel after breakfast (included in your package) and drive drirectly to Lusaka. This is where we drop you off to your hotel (NOT included) or airport in Lusaka and bid our farewells.
