From Thessaloniki: Private Excursion to Philippi-Kavala

Our driver and a luxurious Mercedes Mini-Van will welcome you and will be on your disposal during your trip. As soon as you get comfortable, the driver will inform you about the places your going to visit, and after that your journey begins!


First stop it's Philippi, an extremely important place! On this very ground, Apostle Paul was preaching for the first time on the European soil in the Amphitheatre build there, also the first Christian Church was founded in Philippi and the first woman ever baptized, by the name of Lydia, was baptized here by Apostle Paul in the narrow stream of water. There is also a monastery that carries her name which of course is part of our trip. In the same area, there is a
church by the name of Silas (named after one of Apostle Paul followers).
After all of the above sites time to relax and visit Kavala, one of the most beautiful and well-organized coastal cities in Greece, renowned for its fresh sea food, it’s Old and New part, the Aqueduct etc. The city has so much to offer, and you are free to explore this gem and discover its hidden amazing spots.


The tour lasts for 8-9 hours (4 hours of waiting in all the sites combined).

You are obligated to inform us about the pick-up point, within the city of Thessaloniki. If , however, the pick-up point is outside of the city, please be sure to check the exact price before you make any kind of reservation.
