Day 1: Pokhara – Nayapul – Ulleri
In the morning at 8:00 am, be picked up from your hotel in Pokhara and drive to Nayapul (approx. 1.5 hours). Start trekking from Nayapul, passing through lush forests and traditional villages like Birethanti and Tikhedhunga. Climb the famous stone steps to reach Ulleri (2,070 m), a Magar village with panoramic views of the Annapurna range. Enjoy a hearty meal and relax at a teahouse in Ulleri.
Day 2: Ulleri – Ghorepani
Trek through rhododendron forests, with opportunities to spot birds and enjoy the serene environment. Afternoon arrive in Ghorepani (2,850 m), a charming village surrounded by breathtaking mountain views. Prepare for the next morning's sunrise hike and stay overnight at a teahouse.
Day 3: Ghorepani – Poon Hill – Nayapul – Pokhara
Early morning hike to Poon Hill (3,210 m) to witness a spectacular sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Return to Ghorepani for breakfast, then descend to Nayapul via Tikhedhunga. Drive back to Pokhara (approx. 1.5 hours).
Day 4: Pokhara – Chitwan National Park
Early morning drive to Chitwan by tourist bus. Check into a jungle lodge and enjoy lunch. Attend a briefing about Chitwan National Park and its activities after then leave for a jeep safari. Spot wildlife such as rhinos, deer, crocodiles, and, if lucky, the elusive Bengal tiger. After the jeep safari, visit a Tharu village to learn about local culture and enjoy a traditional Tharu cultural dance performance.
Day 5: Chitwan to Kathmandu or Pokhara
After breakfast, depart to Kathmandu or Pokhara on a scenic 6-7 hour tourist bus journey from Chitwan to Kathmandu.
