Day 2-3: Two days of sightseeing in Lhasa Visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Bazaar, Drepung Monastery, and the Sera Monastery with a guide. Stay overnight at a hotel. Settle in for an overnight at a hotel. Day 6: Xegar to Ronbuk (4,980m), 90 kilometers  Embark on a scenic drive to Ronbuk through the beautiful Tibetan countryside. Explore Ronbuk Monastery, the highest monastery in the world, and enjoy an overnight at a guest house.   Day 7: Ronbuk - Everest Base Camp - Kerong Hike up to Everest Base Camp and explore the surrounding area. Travel back to Ronbuk and then drive to Kerong for overnight at a hotel. Day 8: Kerong to Kathmandu Head toward the Rasuwagadi border and, after necessary border formalities, drive to Kathmandu on the magical Friendship Highway to conclude the tour with hotel drop-off.
