Upon arrival at the Kalambaka train station you will meet your tour guide who will be holding a sign with your name on it. Please note that your transfer from Athens (Larisis railway station) to Palaiofarsalos railway station is by train, but from Palaiofarsalos to Kalambaka the transfer is temporarily by an elevated air-conditioned bus of Hellenic Train. Throughout the tour, there will also be an optional food break of about 30 minutes where you can enjoy traditional greek food, before continuing the road to the monasteries. Finally, the tour ends around 4:45, you will have a break of 20-25 minutes before your bus arrives at the train station and your day ends around 22:00 with your return to Athens.
