Our tour guide Jake was great, and the tour was very informational with lots of laughs. Even though the weather was dreary and rainy we saw lots of animals including Elk, Deer, Bighorn Sheep, Birds of prey and even a momma bear and her two babies. Even if the animal sighting may be minimal, the scenic tour through the mountains and lakes is worth the trip.

Discover the beauty of the Jasper National Park on this guided wildlife watching tour from Jasper aboard a spacious coach. Enjoy stunning natural landscapes while looking for creatures in their native habitats. 
Benefit from pickup at your hotel or guesthouse in Jasper and travel by comfortable coach down into the valley. Look out of the large windows to get stunning views of the mountains and surrounding wilderness.
Travel on paved roads, searching for the many species of animals found in the Jasper National Park. Your guide selects the route based on seasonal wildlife movements, giving you the best chances of finding animals in their natural habitat. 
Encounter amazing creatures at the time of day when they are most active. Take stunning photos from inside the minibus or during occasional short walks, at the discretion of your guide.
Get valuable insights into the challenges of managing and protecting wildlife within the national park. Ask your guide any questions you may have about the animals that you spot. Return to your hotel in Jasper at the end of your tour.

  • An overwhelming 95% of tours are successful at spotting wildlife. However, while encounters are frequent, everyday is unique. The park is a natural environment and sightings cannot be guaranteed
  •  Pickups outside of Jasper Area are not included
  • Based on our observations, young children often become restless as there are no scheduled stops on this vehicle-based tour. Therefore, we recommend a minimum age of 5 years. Although not recommended, children and infants under 5 years old are welcome, provided a seat is purchased for them at the child rate (all passengers regardless of age are required to be allocated a seat on the bus). For those bringing infants, we recommend bringing a baby carrier which can be secured with the provided seat belts on our buses. Alternatively, babysitting services are available through “My Jasper Nanny”.

Our guide was very informative and we saw moose elk and other deer plus eagle chicks but sadly no bears. Jamie our driver tried various places as he really wanted us to see one but to no avail.
