Full description

Experience the best of India's Golden Triangle on this 5-day tour. Discover some of the city's best monuments and stay in luxury accommodation as you travel around 3 of the Golden Triangle's best cities in the company of a private tour guide and driver. 

Day 1
Benefit from pickup at your desired location in Delhi, Noida or Gurugram. Take a full day tour of Delhi city with time in both New and Old Delhi. Admire monuments such as the Jama Masjid, Rikshaw Tour in Old Delhi, Chandni Chowk, Spice Market, Red Fort (Drive Pass), Agrasen ki Baoli - Step Well, Sikh Temple Bangla Sahib, India Gate, Parliament House (Drive Pass), Rashtrapati Bhavan (Drive Pass), National Museum, Gandhi Smriti, Lotus Temple and Qutub Minar before checking into your hotel.

Accommodation:
4 star Hotel: Lemon Tree Premier or Similar
5 star Hotel: The Suryaa or Vasant Continental or Similar

Day 2
After breakfast, proceed to Agra and check-in at your hotel before taking a guided tour of Mehtab Bagh, a charbagh complex with breath-taking views of the Taj Mahal complex and Itimad-ud-Daulah also known as Baby Taj.

4 star Hotel Option: Royale Sarovar Portico or Similar
5 star Hotel Option: Jaypee Palace or Courtyard Marriott or Grand Mercure

Day 3
Rise early to watch the sunrise over the Taj Mahal and enjoy a guided tour of this majestic palace before the crowds arrive. Later, visit the historic Agra Fort before proceeding to Jaipur where you will spend the night, On the way visit Chand Baori - Step Well, also known as Abhaneri.

Accommodation:
4 star Hotel: Sarovar Portico or The Fern Residency similar
5 star Hotel: Hilton or Radisson Jaipur City Center or Intercontinental.

Day 4
After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy a guided tour of Jaipur. Visit Hawa Mahal - Palace of the Winds, the majestic Amber Fort, Panna Meena ka Kund, marvel at the beauty of Jal Mahal, Gaitor Ki Chhatriyan, stop at Maharaja's City Palace and the Jantar Mantar Observatory.

Accommodation:
4 star Hotel: Sarovar Portico or The Fern Residency similar
5 star Hotel: Hilton or Radisson Jaipur City Center or Intercontinental.

Day 5
Make the journey back to Delhi or, if you wish, get dropped off at any desired location in Jaipur.

Know before you go

  • The Taj Mahal remains closed on Fridays. The Lotus Temple and Red Fort in Delhi remain closed on Mondays.

This was the best tour and allowed us to see so much more of India than we ever could have done on our own. The tour guides were all very professional and the hotels were very nice - definitely on par with Western style 5-star hotels. Food was delicious across all the days of our journey as well with no one getting sick the entire journey. Our driver Sanjeev was excellent and helped us all feel right at home. Our favourite stops were the Taj Mahal and the Elephant camp in Jaipur. I would 100% recommend Crystal India Holidays to anyone looking for a superb trip to India’s golden triangle.
