Jack the Ripper Tours

Our tour leader, Ivan, was extremely knowledgeable about the murder cases suspected to involve the letter writer who called himself (probably) ' Jack the Ripper'. Ivan was very pleasant and answered all our questions. He led us on a tour of the streets around Whitechapel and The City of London, showing us where the 5 canonical murders took place. He explained what evidence was found at the time and pieced it together into a cohesive historical narrative. But perhaps most importantly, Ivan brought the 5 murder victims to life, allowing us to understand who they were (as much as is known about them) and transferring the power from their murderer to themselves. My daughter and I were fascinated and enthralled from the beginning to the end of our 2 hour tour. This was excellent value for money and I would highly recommend the experience to other people.
