Very enjoyable day out. I have never been on a group hike before and am not an experienced hiker, and this was a great first experience. I'd be lying if I said I found the trail easy, and I found it really quite challenging at some points, but it was manageable for me; someone of small build, healthy and often active but does not work out or do regular exercise. Do keep in mind the altitude which does also make it harder if you are unexperienced. The guides were lovely, and very amenable, they also often checked in on us to see how we were all feeling and we had the option of splitting into two groups, a slow and a fast group if required. We were provided with plenty of food and drink for the hike, then afterwards taken for an included meal of local food and were completely stuffed with delicious food! Would highly recommend.

the first day we did go on the hop-on hop-off bus which was a great way to see the colourful streets from high above as well as visiting sights which are further away from the historic centre. the following day we did the tour. very punctual departure from Zocalo. comfortable van, small group. our guide Alex was great, giving us some explanations but allowing us free time to visit on our own. we visited Atlixco, then stopped to visit a church of San Francisco, tasting, and Cholula visit. note that this tour is in Spanish only (which for us was not a problem).

Beautiful hike surrounded by Volcanoes and meadows! Our guide Alan was excellent! He prepared each person with a sandwich , drinks and snacks that you eat overlooking Popo Volcanoe. Beautiful ! We finished up on the ride back to MC with some amazing tacos and a Cafe de Olla, traditional Mexican coffee. Was great to explore the wonderful nature so close to the city and enjoy the peace and quiet. Thank you Alan for a lovely day !

This experience with Miroslava was incredible - a true highlight of our trip. Miroslava’s knowledge, kindness, and hospitality made the activity extra special. Being able to do this just by ourselves and not in a huge group was just the best. Highly highly recommend doing this.

Carlos was a fantastic guide. great fun, very helpful and goes out of his way regularly to make sure we have everything we need. the trek was so scenic and not too hard for a 13km bush track walk.
