Full description

Only an hour’s ferry ride from the city center, the Princes’ Islands consist of 9 small islands that will transport you back in time and away from hectic city life. Spend a day exploring Büyükada, to gain insight into a multicultural society in modern Turkey, akin to the multicultural society that existed here during the Ottoman Empire. Start with a cruise over the Marmara Sea to the largest island, Büyükada, and have lunch. Spend the afternoon enjoying the cheerful local life near the village square. Admire the well-preserved Victorian-era cottages that are covered in colorful flowers all summer.

The guide was supposed to pick us up at our hotel at 8:15 am, he finally arrived at 9 am, he made us change buses en route, the activity itself is ok, but the lunch is really not great, a raw vegetable, a kebab and finished, no dessert, no tea! And on the way back, we were allowed to go to a leather clothing factory (not planned and not related to the activity) and as we were late on the way back, the guide dropped us off about 10 minutes walk from our hotel! Given the price of this activity, I expected more seriousness and professionalism!

It was horrible, it felt like a borderline scam/stupid waste of money the "Guided Trip" included ONLY transportation to the island and nothing more, there were no guides just some people who ONLY told us how much time we can spend on the island before the ship leaves - and the time/stay on the island was EXTREMELY LIMITED - it was 1.5 hours max. THIS IS NOT A GUIDED TOUR THIS IS JUST 5 TIMES MORE EXPENSIVE WAY TO GET TO ISLAND - THATS IT, no tours, no guides, no nothing.
