Seemed expensive but was actually excellent value for money. Recommend to anyone visiting Innsbruck. Was amazing to be in snow at the end of April and experience the ski resort aspects. Wasn’t overwhelmed with the zoo but it was nice to see. The cable car and Top of Innsbruck are phenomenal though and a real “bucket list” opportunity.

The top of Innsbruck was spectacular. The ticket from GYG made it easy to use the different trams and gondolas to get to the top. The zoo was also very nice, but many of the animals were not visible, perhaps because of the winter season? Overall a great day.

Full description

The impressive experience at the Top of Innsbruck, the 2,300m-high Hafelekar, is within every man’s grasp thanks to a direct connection from the city. Visitors may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the normally shy wildlife, but the unique panorama of the city and mountain is the real highlight. Walk up to the highest point of the Nordkette and experience the summit atmosphere without a long ascent.

The ticket includes the roundtrip from station Congress to the Top of Innsbruck as well as the entrance to the Alpine Zoo.

Absolutely stunning trip, cable cars are full but not a problem, zoo wasn’t that great but worth the cheap extrance. Top of Innsbruck was magnificent, going back again next month.
