We had an amazing experience with our guided hike up Mt. Liamuiga. We arrived to the island via a cruise ship. We received a text the day before explaining where to meet and who to look for. Our driver was excellent and explained what things were along the drive and more about the people of St. Kitts & Nevis. Our guide was Jay and he was professional, experienced, helpful, positive & of good humor. Our group of four was lucky enough to be the only hikers that day. We were there on a Tuesday. The hike is a very strenuous hike. It should only be done by physically fit humans who are used to hiking. It is about 2-1/2 hours up and about 1 hr. 45 minutes down. These times depend on the size and physical ability of your group. We left at 9am and arrived back at the cruise port around 3:30pm. Jay was equipped with extra water & a few Powerades. We took plenty of protein bars & jerkey for our excursion. We took breaks to catch our breath & take drinks. We highly recommend this excursion!

This was a fun hike, but quite challenging! It’s 5.5 hours straight with a few 5-10 minute breaks. There will be slight rock scaling, climbing slippery tree roots in uphill and narrow spaces. You will use your entire body, and will be muddy at the end. The rainforest around you is beautiful! This hike will be fine for you if are an overall active person. Wear non-slip hiking or trail shoes to avoid slipping. The guides were nice, they spread out amongst the travelers so there was a guide helping the slower folks who couldn’t keep up the pace. I would do it again!

A cool tour to get a feel for the island. The World Heritage site is truly impressive, and you get an incredibly great view. It's okay value for money, considering you have to pay an additional $15 and $3 per person for admission. We didn't go to the beach mentioned in the description, but that was fine with us ;-)

Great guide. Lots of information. He takes his time with his guests. At the end, you could stay on the beach as long as you wanted. He picked us up again. Great tour. Highly recommended. He drove very well. 10/10. Thank you very much!
