We had a private tour of Luxor. Our drivers name was Mohammed and our guides name Hamdy. They were both super accommodating and made sure we were never too hot, hungry or thirsty. Upon arrival in Luxor, you’ll start with a visit to the impressive Karnak Temple, one of Egypt’s largest and most significant ancient sites. After exploring Karnak, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
Following lunch, you have the option to take a relaxing felucca ride along the Nile River, offering beautiful views of Luxor’s landmarks from the water.
Continue your day with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon, two towering statues that have guarded the Theban Necropolis for centuries.
Next, explore the remarkable Valley of the Kings, where many of Egypt’s greatest pharaohs were buried. Your guide will share stories about the history and significance of these royal tombs.
End your tour with a visit to the stunning Temple of Hatshepsut, an extraordinary structure built to honor Egypt’s most famous female pharaoh.
