It was a great trip to Lantau Island to see the Big Buddha. I liked the boat ride in Tai O, and the cable car ride offered views of the bridge to Macau, even a bit of Macau, and the Hong Kong Airport. The views were spectacular! Our guide was great and took good care of us. I felt it was worth the extra to get picked up by van and driven to our destination. And returning to Kowloon by train was easy. And I loved seeing the Big Buddha…totally worth the visit!
This trip was absolutely excellent. Got to see so much and the Big Buddha is not to be missed. Anna was excellent and very informative and the trip worked like clockwork. We did book to have lunch as part of the trip but decided we’d prefer to have something lighter there and there are many food outlets to get lunch. We only booked the lunch as we didn’t know what would be available.
