Xem was our guide, he was great. Very informative and answered any questions that were asked, he also had a great sense of humour. I would say that you definitely get your moneys worth. Hotel pick up then to the cu chi tunnel where you can walk through the tunnels for 100m (there is an exit every 20m if you decide it’s not for you) You stop for a local lunch which was delicious and then get to go to the Mekong delta, you stop in a village where you try coconut candy, local honey and produce as well fresh fruit while listening to singers. Would 100% recommend the tour for a full day out. Pick up was at 7:30 and headed back to Ho chi min city (2 hour drive) at 5:20.

Full description
Depart for the Mekong Delta, stopping at a local restaurant on the way to enjoy a delectable lunch of Vietnamese cuisine. Following lunch, arrive in Mekong Delta, and board a row boat to travel along small canals under the coconut tree fronds.
Board a motor boat and cruise to coconut island. Disembark at a local family's residence to enjoy tropical fruits and taste honey tea and wine. See how local products are made and listen to a live local music performance performed by the villagers.
Stroll along the country roads in the afternoon to see what local life is like. Relax in the peaceful atmosphere, before saying goodbye and returning to Ho Chi Minh City. Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City in the evening and be taken back to your accommodation.
