Ho Chi Minh: 1-Day Mekong Delta Tour-Floating Market & Islet

- 05:00 am, depart Ho Chi Minh City for the 2.5 - hour drive to Mekong Delta. Leaving the city behind, the scenery changes to views of rice paddies, beautiful orchards by the side of the road and other scenes typical to southern Vietnam.

- 7:30 am, arrive in Can Tho city - the capital of the Southwest, start the day with a visit to Cai Rang Floating Market. While crossing the Mekong River, observe the daily activities of local people on the banks, see traditional -style houses in which the local people live as well as beautiful orchards, busy ships - building yards and bustling markets where they make their livelihood.

- Having "Shaken Breakfast" on the floating market. It is a wonderful experience when you can enjoy a delicious countrified breakfast, along with an unsteady feeling whenever the waves hit the side of the boat that will make you feel excited.
- Sipping a cup of coffee on the deck to dive into the vibrant atmosphere of the morning fair, with welcoming laughter and the sound of floods.

- Then, you will a great time learning how locals make “Hu Tieu” (rice vermicelli). They are soft, flat, slippery and slightly chewy. Then, the boat carries you to another place to enjoy pineapple (known as the queen of fruits). You are not only tatste fresh and sweet pineapple but also get into the boat have a better understanding how the life of the trader on the boat is. The seller will peel the pineapple on the spot for you to enjoy right on the boat.

- 10:00 am, after paying a visit to the colorful floating market. You will enjoy the breeze on the boat for about 30 minutes on the way back to the biggest city in the Southwest.
- Hop back on the van to explore Son islet - an islet in the middle of Hau River which is separated not far away from the mainland with alluvial consolidating green orchids all year round and the honest, lovely and enthusiastic people. The first experience in Son islet where you will visit a floating fish farm. The fisherman has a collection of fish. Especially, do not forget to check-in “Foot massage with Koi fish”.

- Walking around Son islet among 80 households, you experience picking the fruit and enjoy it from the tree when you visit the garden with local people. Do not miss the monkey bridges! (Note: Seasonal fruits)
