Around 7:40AM. Get picked up from your central hotels in Ho Chi Minh City and head to the Mekong Delta. Pass by green rice fields before arriving at the beautiful rural My Tho - the heart of the Mekong Delta region. The first stop is Vinh Trang Pagoda. Explore and admire the unique architecture of this historic site, which features a blend of Vietnamese, Khmer, and Chinese influences.  Continue your trip to My Tho and take a boat cruise along the Mekong River where you can escape the busy town. We will pass by the Tortoise islet and the Dragon, Phoenix, and arrive at Unicorn Islet. This journey takes you through tranquil fruit orchards, and rustic villages where you can observe the daily lives of locals. Enjoy a sampan ride through the coconut trees-lined canals. Disembark and explore the village on foot. Visit local families where you can enjoy fruits, honey tea and wine while listening to traditional music performed by the villagers. This is a chance to witness the region's rural life up close. After that, enjoy a local lunch (vegan food available) Continue your trip to cruise to Ben Tre province - the land of coconuts where you can tour a coconut farm and witness the process of making coconut candy, rice paper, and other coconut-based products. After that, you will have time to relax on a hammock or bike around the village. As the sun sets, travel back to Ho Chi Minh City. Arrive approximately at 4:45PM.

In the morning, get picked up at your central hotels and head to Cu Chi Tunnels. After 1.5 hours ride, we arrive at the tunnels where you will get a chance to learn about the fascinating history and significance of the tunnels during the Vietnam War. Crawl distances of the tunnels, try your hand at the shooting range, and witness the intricate network of underground tunnels and traps that played a significant role in the war. After exploring the tunnels, we'll head to a local restaurant for lunch to try some of the delicious local Vietnamese cuisine (vegan food available). After lunch, we'll head to My Tho - the heart of Mekong Delta. You'll get a glimpse into the daily life of the locals as we take a boat ride down the Mekong River, where you can enjoy the picturesque scenery of the surrounding countryside. We will then take a sampan ride through the small waterways with coconut palms line both sides, where you can experience the rural lifestyle, stop by the bee house to enjoy some local fruits and honey tea, listen to a live local music performance performed by the villagers. We'll wrap up our day and head back to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon and arrive approximately at 7:00PM.

Depart at 8:00 AM from your Ho Chi Minh City hotel and head to the Mekong Delta by minivan or bus.
