Guide David was amazing and extremely kind. He was entertaining and tried his best to have each group member be involved and comfortable. Also a great singer! This tour is suitable for super fans or even people who have only seen the film once, as the guide reminded us of many scenes throughout the movie. David provided us with fun filming facts and historical information. Remember to bring cash for cold drinks for sale on board and for the town of mondsee. Bus driver Alex was smooth and excellent. If you get motion sickness try and sit close to the front, arrive early so you have first seat pick! But with Alex’s driving I had no issues. An excellent way to learn about Salzburg and SoM!

Fantastic tour! Guide was very knowledgeable and also knew niche facts. I was very impressed and I’m probably the biggest sound of music fan ever. I would love to get closer to Leopoldskron, but understand as it’s a hotel so I will have to go back and stay one day! Ample bathroom breaks, plenty of drinks on board to buy. Really great tour. I’ve already recommended to a friend!!

The tour was perfect, mainly thanks to the guide. Simon was enthusiastic, had a good sense of humor, and provided just the right amount of information. Without this guide, the tour would have received 4 stars instead of 5. So, kudos to Simon.
