Be part of a small group of no more than 11 travelers and journey by comfortable minibus, south along the beaches of Botany Bay and into the Royal National Park. Wind through the forest and stop at Bald Hill Lookout, which affords sweeping views of the Illawarra coastline and the famous Sea Cliff Bridge. Next, it's on to the family-run Symbio Wildlife Park, active in koala conservation. Find out everything you ever wanted to know about these fascinating marsupials during a private koala presentation with a keeper. Snap the ultimate selfie - just you and a koala. You’ll also be able to feed kangaroos and wallabies and get up close with native Australian wildlife. Continue to follow the scenic coastline of the Grand Pacific Drive across the Sea Cliff Bridge as it sweeps out over the ocean and on to Bulli Beach where you’ll enjoy lunch in a café popular with locals that overlooks the beach and an ocean pool. Bring your swimmers for a pre-lunch dip if the sun is out. In the afternoon head up through temperate rainforest into the Southern Highlands. An easy hike leads to viewpoints that take in the spectacular sandstone gorges and towering waterfalls of the Morton National Park. Finally, you’ll drive along country roads to a boutique winery to taste locally-produced, cool climate wine before returning to Sydney. Arrival back at Circular Quay is around 6:30 PM.

The Royal National Park tour is flexible and allows you to choose from one of two coastal walks; Eagle Rock or Wedding Cake Rock. The length of each walk varies: Eagle Rock takes around 2hrs 30 minutes, whilst Wedding Cake takes around 90 minutes. Your guide will outline the nature of the walks either prior to the tour or on the way in the car. If you would prefer to do more of a sightseeing day we can change the itinerary to limit the amount of walking. Another option is a visit to nearby Symbio Wildlife Park if you would like to see native animals. We start the day by picking you up at your accommodation and making our way to the Royal National Park via historic Botany Bay. Once in the park we stop at Wattamolla where a waterfall drops over a wide sandstone cliff face into a freshwater pool. The pool at the bottom of the waterfall forms into a stream that gently meanders to the beach. The beach is protected from ocean swell and is a pleasant place to swim in the warmer months. After stopping at the waterfall and beach we head to Providential Point. The point provides magnificent views of steep cliffs in both directions. If you have chosen to walk to Eagle Rock we will continue south. Otherwise we head to Bundeena for the walk to Wedding Cake Rock. We walk at a pace to suit you. On our way to either Eagle Rock or Wedding Cake Rock we see a range of native plants including Wattles, Banksias, Grass Trees, Casuarinas and Gymea Lillies. The park has many native birds, such as ravens, kookaburras, lyre birds, cockatoos and honeyeaters. If lucky we may come across an echidna. After enjoying our time at either Eagle Rock or Wedding Cake Rock (including photos taken by your guide - his camera or yours) we enjoy a refreshing lunch of sandwiches and salad. It is now time for a drive through the Royal National Park where we see the beauty of the rainforest, which includes red cedar trees, eucalypts, ferns, palms and climbing vines. When we leave the park we are greeted by panoramic views to the south from Bald Hill lookout. On some days, depending upon the conditions, we will see para gliders and hang gliders in action. Our next stop is one of the most scenic spots on the south coast of New South Wales, Sea Cliff Bridge. Sea Cliff Bridge is a spectacular cantilevered bridge that has great curves and provides outstanding views of the surrounding areas including several massive rock platforms. We take a short walk at this point and cannot help but admire the massive cliff that regularly dropped rocks onto the former road. Our final stop for the day is the historic hotel, the Imperial at Clifton, for a coffee or cold drink. After enjoying a day in nature we return you to your lodgings. Your driver-guide will meet you at your Sydney hotel for your trip to the Royal National Park, passing through Botany Bay. You'll then take a short walk to Bungoona Lookout for panoramic vistas, followed by a visit to one of the National Park's beautiful beaches. Next, drive along the world-famous Grand Pacific Drive, including the iconic Sea Cliff Bridge for breathtaking ocean views. This will be followed by lunch at either The Imperial, The Scarborough Hotel or The Headlands Hotel, all of which have stunning panoramic views of the coast. After lunch, choose to visit Sandon Point or Thirroul Beach for picturesque scenery, or Symbio Wildlife Park to see kangaroos and koalas. Travel back to Sydney in the comfort of the luxury vehicle, whilst you listen to your favourite music and discuss all you have witnessed.
