Things to do in Hai Phong

Our guide (Mr. Ken) was amazing. He gave us all the necessary information of all the places we have visited. The pick-up and drop-off locations are convenient (especially if your hotel is based at the old quarter). The bus and the boat were clean and decent. Also, the food at the boat was good. I really like the fact that they are asking if you are vegetarian/vegan and they take care of you. Extra tip: don’t sit inside the boat, go to the second floor, choose a nice seat and enjoy the view (or sunset if you are lucky enough). This is a very well-organised tour and I highly recommend to go for it. Please have in mind that weather might be foggy or slightly rainy (we visited the area at the end of February), but that does not mean that you should not go to halong bay. The scenery is still spectacular. Extra tip number two: if you are thinking to spend the night there you should consider going to cat Ba island for a quiet stay.
