Cinque Terre: Hybrid Boat Tour with Swimming Stop

Cinque Terre: Hybrid Boat Tour with Swimming Stop

Embark on a captivating journey that unveils the heart of Cinque Terre from the sea. Get ready to discover the iconic villages along the sea. As your boat tour departs from Monterosso, the northernmost village of Cinque Terre, you're immediately enveloped in its lively atmosphere and historical charm. Monterosso, known for its beautiful beaches and lush lemon trees, serves as the perfect starting point for your adventure. As you glide southward, the next spectacle is Vernazza, arguably the most picturesque of the five villages. With its natural harbor and colorful houses clinging to steep terraces, Vernazza is a photographer's dream. The Doria Castle and the Santa Margherita d'Antiochia Church stand as timeless sentinels over this vibrant fishing village. As the coastline unfurls, a special moment awaits—a leisurely stop at Cinque Terre's most secluded beach. Here, in the midst of crystal-clear waters, indulge in a refreshing swim followed by an aperitif featuring local specialties, a true taste of Ligurian hospitality. Continuing along the coast, you reach Corniglia, the only village perched high above the sea, offering breathtaking panoramic views from its vantage point. Surrounded by terraced vineyards, Corniglia feels like a step back in time with its narrow streets and quaint piazzas, embodying the tranquil essence of rural Italian life. Manarola, your next stop, is a cascade of multi-colored houses that seem to emerge straight from the rock itself. This village is renowned for its lively waterfront where the houses seem to dive into the sea. The romance of Manarola is unmatched. The final jewel in the Cinque Terre crown is Riomaggiore, the southernmost village, a picturesque coast-side village with postcard-perfect panoramas at every bend. The boat will navigate back to Monterosso, concluding a journey that has taken you through the heart of the Cinque Terre's unparalleled beauty.

We were on our honeymoon and decided to try a new cooking experience together which turned out to be one of the highlights of our stay in Levanto. We didn’t know what to expect but from the very start, Ermando and Clara made us feel at home. The location of their home was beautiful and away from the bustle of the city, a perfect place to immerse ourselves in Ligurian culture. The dynamic duo started by introducing us to some of the unique aspects of Ligurian cooking. Pasta making always seemed hard; this class made it very approachable and they answered all our questions thoroughly. We took away so much from this cooking class but most of all the importance of how food can bring people together. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Cinque Terra. You will learn lots and even make some lifelong friends. Thank you Ermando and Clara for making our experience so memorable. Also, we would like to thank our driver and new friend Cinzia. Grazie mille. Saluti!

It was such a lovely experience. They picked us up from the train station and communication was good. The kids enjoyed the class and they even substituted the coffee for a chocolate drink instead. Looking forward to using their little gift of sea salt seasoning too from their garden.
