While the road is cleared daily, there are situations where we might not be allowed to proceed to Kazbegi for the safety of both you and our team. Due to Heavy snowfall from mid February until mid March there is a 30% chance that the road to Kazbegi itself might be closed. It is not controlled sadly by us, it is controlled by the goverment and is it due to your and our safety.We hope for your Understanding.

The tour covers several breathtaking places along the way. We can Easily Say that this is the highlight of your trip to Georgia. You have so much fun with charming people laughing and dancing on the way. The groups here are international; you can meet many incredible people.(For solo travelers, it is a great option!). Remember, it is a long ride, but no worries, our guides always create the mood and the atmosphere of celebration with beautiful stories about Georgia. This ride is challenging even for our safe and experienced drivers in winter. We have some tips on what you should do in the winter. First, be prepared for freezing weather, take everything warm you have, and get good sleep the night before. Sometimes roads are blocked, and we cannot go beyond Gudauri, but in this case, we have more time to spend at Gudauri ski resort, where you can try many activities like paragliding ATV bikes, Horse riding, etc. You can also try rafting experience during the summer period.

Start with pickup from a centrally-located meeting point in Tbilisi. Travel in a comfortable vehicle where you can relax as you take in the best landscapes of the Georgian Military Road. See the sparkling waters of Zhinvali Lake and visit a Georgian restaurant where you can purchase delicious khinkali and traditional dishes. Arrive at the Gudauri Ski Resort where you can find slopes that are suitable for both beginners and lovers of the skiing. The mountain skiing region is connected by three cable cars (extra fee). One of them can take you to the top of the mountain (3307 meters). From the top there are amazing panoramic views of the Caucasus Mountains, the total length of well-prepared tracks is 15 kilometers. Return to your meeting point with unforgettable memories at the end of your tour.

Spend the night in Kazbegi or Gudauri and enjoy free time to explore the area at your own pace. Day 1: Tbilisi to Kazbegi (or Gudauri in Winter) We pick you up from your hotel and take you to meeting point. Hotel pick up time is at 8:10AM. Depart promptly at 8:30 AM from the Big Bicycle Monument, just 100 meters from Radisson Blu. Stop at a supermarket for a coffee or a quick breakfast if you missed it at the hotel. Marvel at the serene beauty of Jinvali Water Reservoir, where you pause for 15 minutes to soak in the views. Explore the historic Ananuri Fortress, spending approximately 1 hour discovering its rich history. Have free any tasting and Enjoy lunch with an optional summer activity of rafting (additional $50 USD cash, paid directly to local providers). Arrive at Gudauri Ski Resort, where activities vary by season. In summer, visit the Gudauri Friendship Monument, or try paragliding or quattro tours. In winter, experience skiing, snowmobiling, or winter paragliding. Spend about 2 hours here. If weather permits, continue to Kazbegi (Stepantsminda Village). Opt for a 4WD ride to Gergeti Trinity Church at sunset (20 GEL/7 USD per person). Alternatively, you can visit the church independently on Day 2. Overnight in Kazbegi (summer) or Gudauri (winter) to maximize your experience. Day 2: Explore at Your Own Pace Spend the day immersing yourself in the breathtaking mountain scenery. Enjoy free time to hike or explore Kazbegi until the designated departure times: Summer: Departure from Rooms Hotel Kazbegi at 7 PM. Winter: Pickup from Gudauri at approximately 6 PM. Return to Tbilisi: Winter: Arrive back in Tbilisi around 9 PM. Summer: Return at approximately 11 PM. We drop-off all travelers at Radisson blu Tbilisi.
