This trip was excellent from start to finish. Our guide Siggy was very informative and passionate about his homeland, which goes a long way. The landscape is so varied that it changes completely every stop! We were lucky to be offered a choice between spending time at the Mývatn Baths as planned or going to Dettifoss, the most powerful waterfall in Europe - apparently in the dead of winter this is not normally on the list and we did need crampons to walk there from the car park but it was a worthwhile visit. Returned home exhausted but absolutely delighted with our experience! It's an expensive trip for most people (for us too) and it was worth every penny. Do NOT miss out on this tour!!
Had a great time on the tour, Joanna our guide was brilliant and went out of her way to make our experience special. There were only myself and my husband on the tour so she was able to take lots of photos for us and spend time showing us the best spots for views. Godafoss was the highlight, absolutely stunning. We skipped the forest lagoon as had been the day before . Would definitely recommend this tour.
From start to finish the tour was an amazing experience. We were lucky enough to be the only two on the tour and Ingimundur was the perfect tour guide, taking us to two hidden gems of waterfalls and enabling us to see them from so many different viewpoints. It was totally exhilarating and a great high adrenaline adventure!
Since it was low season when we went me and my fiancée were the only people on tour and it was lovely. Our guide Marcus was super nice and friendly, told us some interesting facts about the waterfall and took around Akureyri to show local spots which was very informative. Definitely recommend the tour :))
