Overall rating
Due to weather, we were unable to complete 3 hours of the 5 hour experience. We also waited for weather so the experience was signficantly shortened and we did not get to cruise the Milford Sound. The flight was good and the providers were kind and offered a small refund. GYG however, indicated that even though a refund was processed through the providers, they would not pass the refund to us. This resulted in several emails until it was eventually sorted out. GYG made the experience very distasteful. I would not use them again.
I really enjoyed the trip and we had amazingly weather. I was on my own and paired with two sisters in a kayak. They were in their 70’s and became exhausted with the paddling. The description about how fit you need to be could be better in the online itinerary.
Amy was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide and a fabulous driver on all the winding roads! Even though I’m not a LOTR mega fan, I loved seeing all the magnificent scenery. And we got to dress up!!!
Beautiful landscapes, the captain and crew are really friendly. Nice teas and biscuits. Also it’s a smaller boat so it’s more quiet and more enjoyable we loved that! I highly recommend
great time and well worth it! you want it to be raining and it was which was great!
