Excellent day trip, all of the guides were lovely and very informative on the surrounding areas and Scottish history, and you get so much more than is in the itinerary with some of the most beautiful sights
We did a fantastic trip from Glasgow: Loch Ness, Glencoe and the Highlands Tour with an amazing guide, a very knowledgeable Glaswegian gentleman who spoke fascinatingly about Scottish history along the way. It was an unforgettable experience to learn about this in the context of the historical settings. I can't wait to come back and explore with more time spent in all the interesting locations we visited on the way. Lovely playlist with Scottish music that contributed to the overall experience. Really well worth the money.

Full description
Head north towards the Highlands and admire the lush pastures of the Scottish countryside from an air-conditioned bus. Stop for a cup of tea or coffee at a café on the shores of Loch Lomond before ascending into the Highlands.
Traverse the desolate landscape of Rannoch Moor and the Black Mount to Glencoe, the site of the 1692 massacre of the MacDonald clan. Learn about the events and history of the area from your guide.
After lunch in the Fort William area, pass beneath Britain’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis, and into the Great Glen. At Loch Ness, opt for a sightseeing cruise on the loch or choose to admire the views from the shore.
On your way back to Glasgow, cross the Grampian Mountains and admire the woodland scenery of Perthshire, including the Forest of Atholl.

- Please note: the Loch Ness cruise will not be operating on the 20th and 24th December 2024. On those dates, we will stop at Fort Augustus for lunch where you will have the opportunity to view and enjoy Loch Ness.
