All of us thoroughly enjoyed our tour because it provided just what we needed: a relaxing time outdoors in the fresh air, experiencing the beauty that Scotland has to offer, away from the city, and close to the lochs, the trees, amazing views, little villages and so on. Michael is a really pleasant and great guide, and ensured the tour was at the right pace for us, checked with us which of various options we preferred, and gave us all the time we needed for photo stops, walks, snacks, while he shared information along the way. Michael picked us up and dropped us off punctually from/at the places we selected, and the vehicle was very clean and comfortable. We highly recommend this tour.

Mike literally went the extra mile to take us to the standing stones at Kilmartin Glen. Standing in the footsteps of kings at Dunadd was the highlight of our trip!

Full description

A tour in Winter and Spring means colder weather and the picturesque likelihood of snowy mountains. Many guests wouldn’t change this time of year for any other, quiet roads, quiet villages and the winter landscape make for a memorable visit.

Luss
One of Scotland's most popular villages to visit. Walk past the pretty sandstone and slate cottages to the pier for wonderful views up and down Loch Lomond and across the loch to the mountains. From the pier a very short walk to the atmospheric church graveyard which has graves dating back to 600AD / 700AD.
30 minute stop.

The Rest and be Thankful.
The famous pass called The Rest and Be Thankful divides Glen Kinglas from Glen Croe. On top is a viewpoint with beautiful views of Glen Croe where you can clearly see the old valley road which was engineered by General Wade during the subjection of Scotland following the Jacobite rebellion. 10 minutes

Inverary.
Inverary, on Loch Fyne is a lovely village in a grand scenic setting on the western shore of Loch Fyne, as well as strolling in the village, a walk to the picture perfect Inverary Castle is very popular for visitors. There are shops worth browsing for souvenirs, an excellent whisky shop which will let you sample some quality Scotch.

Kilchurn Castle.
Built around 1450, this long abandoned castle is still very impressive, it sits at the top of Loch Awe ringed by mountains both close by and distant makes for a very memorable visit. There are Highland Cattle living in the vicinity and hopefully they will be visible and very close when you view the castle.Kilchurn Castle.

Inverary.

St Conan's Kirk
Just 5 minutes from Kilchurn Castle is this very unique and beautiful church perched on the edge of Loch Awe. Described as enchanting, magical and fascinating, a wonderful stop.

A fantastic tour! Mike was a wonderful guide and an excellent driver. We had a great conversation and he told us many interesting stories and facts about the region as he showed us the glorious scenery. Even for just the three of us this was excellent value. Highly recommended!
