We enjoyed everything especially our driver heather. Very informative. Love the music she played in the minivan. Enjoyed the trip and the train, I would highly recommend it. i would highly recommend heather. Only two suggestions for improvement: 1. i think there should have been small bottles of chilled water on the mini bus. 2. The last stop was beautiful, but nothing was open. Maybe you can work with the board or council of that town and have at least one store open that can sell souvenirs, drinks, maybe some small salads or prepared sandwiches. I don't know if that particular castle is open to the public. But I certainly would have liked to have visited it. It's a lovely little village and I did take a lot of pictures there, but was very disappointed that we couldn't get some ice cream and some souvenirs..

Your tour starts in Glasgow, where you’ll set off on a scenic drive through the beautiful Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. Cross the wild expanse of Rannoch Moor, then stop at the breathtaking Glen Coe to take in its towering peaks and dramatic views.

Next, board the iconic Jacobite Steam Train! Departing from Fort William, this legendary train ride takes you along Scotland’s rugged west coast, crossing the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct, recognized from the Harry Potter films. In the harbor town of Mallaig, explore the area and savor a fresh seafood lunch — a local specialty.

Continue your adventure along the stunning Appin coastline, passing the historic Kilchurn Castle nestled on the shores of Loch Awe. Stop in Inveraray, a charming town where you can stroll its streets and enjoy views of the tranquil Loch Fyne.

Before heading back to Glasgow, pause at the renowned Rest and Be Thankful viewpoint for breathtaking panoramic vistas of the surrounding hills. Arrive back in the city in the evening, having experienced the very best of Scotland’s natural beauty and historic landmarks.

The views were stunning! Our guide, Erin (which is spelled with far more vowels than I’ve used here) was very nice and super informative. We enjoyed her a lot! The only disappointment was that the steam train could not be operated with steam due to fire issues, but that had nothing to do with the tour company.
