We spent a wonderful day with Ledjon and his wife Ana. We started the day at Lekursi Castle which provides amazing panoramic views. We then moved on to the Blue eye, this was beautiful. The last stop is Gjirokaster and on the way we made a stop to see an old bunker which was interesting. The tour of the castle led by Ledjon was very informative and again gave us ample time to explore. I think the tour is well organised as most of the stops gave sufficient time but most importantly ensured that we beat the large crowds. We had planned to stay overnight in Gjirokaster and Ledjon and Ana kindly drove us to our hotel which would have been a challenge carrying our bags in the blistering hot sun. Both Ana and Ledjon were amazing and the communication and transportation were good. I would definitely recommend booking a tour with Ledjon and Ana. 😁

It was perfect!! We were lucky, there were only two of us, so we got a private tour with a local guide who was patient, very knowledgeable, and spoke French (which she speaks very well, even if she won't admit it 😉). Please note if you are coming from the Greek islands. Take the time difference into account. We got caught out and left very early, only to end up being late. Fortunately, the guide and driver kindly waited for us 🙏 Thank you again, it was a wonderful day, we'll be back to Albania to discover more of this beautiful country!!
