From Tirana: Kruja Castle, Old Bazaar & Sari Salltik View

From Tirana: Kruja Castle, Old Bazaar & Sari Salltik View

Join a guided tour of Kruja city to explore all its iconic attractions. Visit Kruja Castle, Skanderbeg’s Museum, the Old Bazaar, and Sari Salltik mountain. We will pick you up and start the tour by driving towards Sari Salltik. Enjoy a scenic ride up a panoramic mountain road to visit this holy site, which holds significance in the Bektashi religion. Perched at 1176 meters above sea level, the cave shrine offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. After visiting Sari Salltik, we continue to Kruja city, where we begin our next visit with a guided walking tour inside the Castle of Kruja. The castle houses Skanderbeg’s Museum, dedicated to the legendary Albanian resistance against the Ottomans, led by national hero Skanderbeg in the 15th century. See a replica of Skanderbeg’s helmet and sword in the main hall, along with the flags and crests of noble families who supported him. The guide will provide fascinating historical insights about this significant period. Next, you have the option to visit the Ethnographic Museum, located in a beautifully preserved Ottoman-era house. This museum offers an authentic glimpse into the lifestyle, traditions, and crafts of the region from centuries past. FREE TIME/LUNCH: After soaking in the culture and history, enjoy 1 hour 45 minutes of free time to explore the Old Bazaar, take photos and enjoy the lunch. After the visit to the bazaar, we will return to Tirana. Afterward, head back to Tirana. NOTE: During the visit to the Sari Salltik cave, it is possible (though rare) to encounter local religious rituals involving animal sacrifices; if this is a concern, please inform your tour guide in advance.

Çorovoda: Osumi Canyon Rafting/River Tubing Tour

Çorovoda: Osumi Canyon Rafting/River Tubing Tour

We start the day and meet at 10:30/14:00 at our location in Çorovoda city. Our team will meet you there, and if you are having issues finding the location, they will contact you to assist. Then we will provide you with everything you need to wear before the activity starts: a neoprene wetsuit to be comfortable in the water temperature, along with a long-sleeve waterproof shirt. The life jacket and helmet are the most important items for safety during our activities. After everyone is ready, we will give a water bottle to each person to stay hydrated during the activity, and we kindly ask you not to throw them in the water to keep the environment clean. Then we will sit in our vehicles to drive to the viewpoints of the canyon and the starting point. At the starting point, our guides will give instructions to the group about everything they should know. Since our team ensures you understand everything, we will start our journey. The first stop is at the “Cathedral of Canyon.” We stop to take some photos there, and after a short moment, you will find yourself in another environment, surrounded by massive rock structures, eight waterfalls, and an untouched ecosystem carved over millions of years. The next stop is at the “Waterfall of Love,” where we stay longer to enjoy the biggest waterfall in the canyon. Going deeper into the canyon, the next attraction is the narrowest part of the canyon and the “Sugar Waterfall,” splashing water on our heads. During our activities, photos and videos are taken when we find the right moment. You can also take some with your phone, which can be stored in our waterproof bags. Our guides will provide you with a lot of information about the canyon and its history. When we arrive at the end of our trip, our vehicles will transport us to the meeting point, where you can change into your dry clothes and eat a sandwich. It is important for us to share your review with the rest of our curious customers so they can be part of our adventures. IMPORTANT NOTICE! If you are visiting Osumi Canyon from February to June, the water level is higher, and the 8 waterfalls have more water, making our tour more enjoyable. It is important to mention that during that time, we organize rafting tours only! If you are visiting Osumi Canyon from June to November, the water level is lower, and we need lighter inflatables to float on the water. During that period, we organize river tubing tours only! Activities change in price and distance, and they are described in the tour options.

The whole experience was amazing! The guides were very helpful and made it very entertaining. The tubing was very fun to do and the canyon is beautiful! There was plenty of time to stop for a swim and there was even a spot where you could jump from a ledge into the water. We got 2 bottles of cold water each during the activity and after we got a tasty warm sandwich. To top it all off we even got a ride back to Berat for a good price. 10/10 would recommend!
