We recently trekked to Poon Hill, and we couldn’t have asked for a better team than our guide, Pujan Thapa, and our porter, Hari. From the very start, they made us feel welcome and at ease, ensuring that every step of our journey was filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Pujan was incredibly knowledgeable about the trail, sharing fascinating insights about the region while keeping everything well-organized and stress-free. His experience and professionalism made the trek feel effortless. Hari, our porter, was not only strong and reliable but also an amazing companion throughout the journey. The conversations we had with him were some of the highlights of the trip—his humor, kindness, and stories kept us entertained for hours. Whether it was sharing laughs along the trail, singing songs together, or simply soaking in the beauty of the Himalayas, Hari made the experience even more special. The hike was breathtakingly beautiful. We liked that it was a round trip and 4 days was appropriate. It was a good mix of challenging and easier sections. The view of the snow-covered mountains was definitely worth the effort. Our guide Bidur was very courteous, pleasant, informative (both about mountains and Nepalese culture, religions and language) and adapted to our pace and needs. He always chose the best accommodation and resting places for us. He and our porter P. became our trekking friends. If we were to go trekking in Nepal again, they would be our first choice. Next time we'll bring our UNO game again.
Really good trip with snowpeak tour. Santosh our guide was really good and kind - especially his English skills are good compared to other guides we met at the tour.
