Penang Local Food Hunting

I can’t say enough good things about the experience we had with Remy. He’s very knowledgeable about the local food and we had some of the best food and drinks of our lives on this food hunt! It was well paced and when we got full he gave us some great recommendations for things to try during the rest of our stay. Truly can’t recommend enough, this is the best food to go on!

Remi is incredible. He’s not only the best tour guide I've ever had, but one of the most interesting, inspiring people I’ve ever met. If you're strict about what a tour should look like, look elsewhere. If you're seeking a true local who knows Penang inside out, who’ll take you to the best hidden gems and is friends with everyone in town, Remy is your guy. This was my first day in Malaysia, and I came alone with little idea of anything. Remy introduced me to the most delicious dishes I’ve never heard of, brought me places I never would’ve glanced at, and gave me recs for all my other interests. Remy is just the most open, generous person, and our tour felt more like a day out with the worldliest chatty friend. I loved Remy's food hunt so much that I also booked his street art and history tours. He went above and beyond to check off everything on my list, and he’s absolutely made my time in Penang. It is an honor to have not only toured with him, but found in him a cherished friend.
