Honestly this was hands down the best experience on our trip. At first we had just selected the train ride to the Glacier as we thought the full package was a bit expensive. HOWEVER, when we arrived in Chamonix and saw the mountain for ourselves we ended upgrading. I’m so happy we did!! We were absolutely speechless at the view. Would recommend the full package to everyone!!! Also the transport from Geneva to Chamonix was a luxurious bus with aircon

Visit the site of the first Winter Olympics. In Chamonix, experience majestic scenery on a drive through the Arve Valley and from the 12,605-foot viewing platform on Europe’s highest mountain.

This day tour begins in Geneva with a drive across the French border through the glacier-fed Arve Valley. At Chamonix, marvel at the splendid backdrop of the massive peaks of the Aiguilles Rouges.

You’ll take the cable car up to Aiguille du Midi, which was the world’s highest cable car ride when it was launched in 1955. Enjoy breathtaking panoramas of this Alpine wonderland, with views into France, Switzerland, and Italy. Lunch will be at your leisure.

You will also have the chance to ride the astonishing Montenvers rack railway to the Mer de Glace glacier. The journey on this electric train covers 3 miles of beautiful mountainous scenery before arriving at the longest glacier in France.

Spend the day as you please. Wander by foot to discover the town’s many delights, such as Parc Loisir, Musée Alpin, Lac Gaillands or Atelier Les Racines.
Chamonix is the world capital for outdoor activities: mountaineering, alpinism, hiking, climbing, mountain biking, paragliding, trail running, and skiing.

  • Tours operate daily throughout the year, except 25 December and 1 January
  • Children under 3 years are not allowed to ascend the cable car to Aiguille du Midi
  • This tour is subject to mountain weather conditions, activities can close during the day and there is no refund possible. Alternatives will be offered in the event of this happening
  • If you choose the Aiguille du Midi and Mer de Glace options, you will be provided with a multipass. Multipass which gives access to all the facilities of the Mont Blanc company
  • If you use this Multipass for a single activity, it will be considered by the Compagnie du Mont-Blanc as used and cannot be refunded if the other activities are closed. The Mont Blanc company offers alternative activities but does not authorize refunds of the multipass

amazing trip,very well organised by our guide David. We were given clear instructions before each section of the trip, departure times etc.. the trip up mont Blanc was amazing, there was a blizzard blowing so the view was limited but thrilling nonetheless. well worth it.
