Complete your trip to Calgary with a visit to the Heritage Park. Spend an incredible day at Canada’s largest living history museum, and witness history come to life. Explore the historic buildings and antique machinery, ride authentic attractions, interact with costumed improvisational actors, learn about the history of Western Canada and have lots of fun. Visit the exhibitions of Calgary's Electric Streetcar System, Standard Gauge Railway, Gasoline Alley Museum with an impressive vintage car collection, Hudson's Bay Company Fur Trading Fort and many others. Explore inside the historical homes and saloons, see a blacksmith in action, explore the origins of Alberta’s energy industry at Prospect Ridge – including the new STORYSEEKER exhibit. Visit the farm animals in the Ranch Area and find out how Veterinarians plied their trade at the turn of the century in the Vintage Veterinary Exhibit at the Nanton Livery Stable – also new for 2022. Don't forget to ride the antique midway rides, including the Ferris Wheel, Bowness Carousel, the Caterpillar and the Whip - the world's first thrilling attraction. Finish your day by riding the S.S. Moyie paddle-wheeler boat or take a horse-drawn wagon tour. Food and drinks are available in various locations throughout the park, along with several shopping opportunities to find the perfect souvenir.

Begin at the base of the Calgary Tower and travel through downtown on your way to the Calgary Zoo and Telus Spark Science Center. Travel in a comfortable bus through the East Village to historic Inglewood. Listen to your guide as they share stories and facts about this cosmopolitan city. The first stop will be at Scotsman's Hill, where you'll get a panoramic view of the skyline. Proceed through the Beltline to the Lougheed House and then to Heritage Park. Take time to explore Gasoline Alley, a museum dedicated to historical gravitational gas pumps and antique vehicles. Continue to Canada Olympic Park to watch some sporting activities. Following your time there, head back toward Calgary Downtown. On the way, stop for one more amazing view of the city. Travel through Downtown Calgary where the tour will conclude at the base of the Calgary Tower, where it began. Children 5 and up are welcome, however, please note that if your child is not 18 kg (40lbs) and/or 145 cm (4’9”) tall YOU must provide a booster seat. Adults must ensure children aged 6 to 15 or who weigh more than 18 kg (40lbs) wear a seat belt. Booster seats are required for children who do not meet the requirement.

Explore Gasoline Valley Museum that showcases the introduction and popularization of the automobile. Gaze in awe at the classic cars, trucks, and working vehicles from the 1900s to the 1950s. Explore the unique antique gasoline pump collection and many signages from a wide variety of historical petroleum companies. Learn about the history of the automobile and the far-reaching social changes that resulted from the transition from horse and carriage to the motor car. Be sure to also visit the lower showroom, which offers even more incredible artifacts to see.
