Things to do in Gans Bay

It has been a very enjoyable day out at sea. The shark cage diving experience was quite unique - you do see the sharks up close and personal but it is 200% safe. The staff is both welcoming and professional. They explain the dos and donts. The boat is pleasant - the ocean is cold but you get a wet suit as you will dive in the cage for about 20 to 30 minutes (if this does not seem sufficient, believe me you will not want to stay longer despite the wet suit, the water is really cold). The marine landscape is absolutely beautiful. The whole trip is very well organised. And there is great coffee and breakfast or snacks before and after the trip at sea. There are also beautiful small souvenirs to buy if you wish - some of which support marine conservation.
