Malmö: Disgusting Food Museum Entrance Ticket

Malmö: Disgusting Food Museum Entrance Ticket

Arrive at the museum and receive your ticket in the form of a vomit bag. After reading some information about the nature of disgust, start exploring this quirky and revolting exhibition. Smell jars filled with some of the stinkiest foods known to man, try out the photo booth of disgust and marvel at the exhibit items. At the end of your visit, hesitantly approach the tasting bar where the staff will guide you through the bucket-list-worthy items from all over the world. Sample dried insects, stinky cheeses, fermented shark and the dreaded surströmming - all included in the ticket price. If you find your new favorite food, head to the gift shop which is filled to the brim with frozen bull testicles and the saltiest licorice known to exist. Your ticket is valid all day and the time printed is just an indication.

Really enjoyed this experience, it was a little odd at first as you walk around reading about all the different foods, then at the end you get to try some and do the chilli challenge but we didn’t find it very hot at all 🙈 but we enjoy spicy food anyway

It was a great intro to Malmo, stopping in lots of cute squares and streets and taking it totally at my own pace. If I saw something along the way that interested me I could go check it out and then pick the tour right back up again, so fun!

Very good, I love these self-guided audio tours. You get a lot of information at your own pace and according to your own taste and have the opportunity to get a good first impression of a new city/area.

It lived up to it’s name. Some of the grossest foods and the tasting part didn’t disappoint
