The entire experience was definitely the best thing tour wise that we have ever done..strewth it was both awe inspiring and thrilling at the same time..with just a little bit of crikey thrown in as well..flying in between the snow covered summits of Mt Tasman and Mt Cook was unbelievable and then getting to land on and then walk Franz Josef Glacier for ten or so minutes was the icing on the cake ..would recommend this to everyone visiting this area of South Island NZ.. worth every cent guys.

Experience quadruple the excitement as you fly over the stunning Fox, Franz Josef and Tasman Glaciers on a helicopter ride over stunning mountain landscapes that includes a scenic snow landing.

Depart from Franz Josef town and in no time you will be soaring over majestic glacier icefall's ascending among the Southern Alps on your most magical tour of your lifetime before descending to the panoramic snow fields for your snow landing experience.

As you fly, admire below you the snowfields of the Fox, Franz Josef and Tasman glacier, with magnificent views including Mount Cook, and Mount Tasman (new Zealand's highest peaks).

After 10 minutes of feeling the snow on your feet, jump back in the helicopter and take off once again across the snowfield expanse and then land back where you departed from.

  • No food or drinks will be served on this tour but there are several cafés nearby where you can purchase it.

  • Infants 3yrs and under and weighing less than 15kg will fly for free, sitting on an Adult lap must be declared as a passenger with initial booking. Infants 3yrs and under and weighing above 15kg must be charged at the Child fare. Flight departures, flight route and snow landing subject to safe and suitable weather conditions and at pilots discretion
