Full description

Explore the Cape Winelands Wine Route on a full-day horseback riding tour from Cape Town. Ride through the countryside and high into the mountains, stopping at wine estates for tastings and a delicious lunch.

Meet your guide and horse at the stables and set off on a ride through the scenic countryside. Traverse through various wine estates and nature reserves, and take in the stunning views of the mountains.

Depending on your riding ability, ride at all paces during the tour. Cover some of the most popular wine estates including Vrede en Lust, Babylonstoren, Plaisir De Merle, and Anura. Stop at 2 of the estates for wine tastings and enjoy a delicious lunch (for own account).

The estates chosen will be a surprise and will depend on your riding abilities. Ride privately deep into these beautiful farms not normally open to the public. Enjoy ample opportunities for trots and canters and even the odd gallop.
