LOVED being on the bike and riding by the beautiful scenery. Wish we would have had a bit longer ride as it was only 2-3 hrs actually on the bike for our day outing and would have liked to stop maybe once or twice more to take photos or just take in the view. Also I thought we were to stop for gelatos! I forgot that! Alessio/Alex was very good and quite a pleasant person to guide us. He gave excellent bike instructions and did a good job looking out for everyone along the way. We all made the trip without an incident which was terrific!
It was excellent! We loved our guide, Grazie (Grace)! Such a fun day!! She was excellent helping us navigate the busy city streets of Florence! The winery was beautiful! She stopped for lots of photo ops! Perfecto!!

Full description
This guided and fully supported bike ride in the Tuscan countryside begins by transporting you out of the busy city center. In just 15 minutes you will be at the doors of the Chianti countryside. Riding 24-speed bicycles, you will be led along shaded roadways framed by ancient olive groves and vineyards. Tuscan hilltops and hillside villa estates are all part of the breathtaking panoramic views you will see as you ride your bike through the heart of Tuscany.
Lunch is a typical Tuscan meal at a fascinating location in the Chianti region, where you will also tour the vineyards and visit the wine cellar. You will learn the techniques of production, ageing, storing and bottling the wines and olive oil (tasting is encouraged).
After lunch it's back on the bike for the ride home. Several stops are included for photo opportunities along the way, and possibly a stop for gelato ice cream, time permitting. A shuttle will get you back to the center of Florence no later than 5:00 PM.

- This tour is not recommended for wheelchair-users or participants with mobility issues
- The biking is an easy to intermediate level of difficulty. The itinerary is not strenuous but it can be hilly. Minivan support can be offered to aid participants with the uphill sections
- Difficulty: intermediate. The itinerary is hilly but requires an easy effort, with the assitance of the electric bike. Good riding skills are requested. A normal to fit physical condition is also recommended.
- A Third-Party insurance for civil liability is included in the price of the tour. As for any vehicle rental, please note that clients will be given two options to choose from, to cover vehicle damages (either one of these two will need to be chosen in order to rent the e-bike): subscribe an additional insurance (€ 20,00 per vehicle, not refundable) or sign for a guarantee deposit of € 500,00 on their credit card
