What a lovely way to spend the afternoon away from the hustle and bustle of Florence. Beautiful independent perfumery and a beautiful setting where you learn how to design a perfume and then following the steps to create your own. This was not rushed and the host allows you plenty of time. I would fully recommend this experience to anyone who wants to know more about perfume. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Learn how to make your own perfume with a perfume masterclass at the Antica Spezieria Erboristeria San Simone, located in the heart of Florence. Discover the traditions of perfumery within the city with your instructor, and take home a 30ml bottle of your own personalized fragrance.

Meet your master perfumer who will guide you through the experience. Craft your own personalized fragrance as you relive the magic of Renaissance-era master alchemists such as René le Florentin, the personal perfumer of Catherine de Medici.

Be guided through the perfume-making process, and learn how to combine intoxicating scents and delicate aromas from a kit of various essences. Then, create your very own personalized fragrance, unique to you.

At the end of the masterclass, collect your 30ml personalized perfume complete with its formula, as well as a certificate of your newly acquired skill.

this was fun! gorgeous little spot. the instructor was knowledgeable and interactive. we received a brief history lesson before getting started. would highly reccomend.
