Enjoy the panoramic view of Norway's most magnificent mountains and pass by the famous Kjosfossen waterfall on the 20-kilometer-long train journey. At Myrdal change to the Bergen Railway to Voss, and then a bus back to Bergen where the tour started.

Depart from Oslo early in the morning and travel by car towards the western fjords of Norway. Discover a part of the Bergen Railway by train with a ride from Geilo to Myrdal.  In Myrdal, enjoy a scenic train ride on the world-famous Flåm Railway. This rail route meanders through the mountains at a steep elevation. It is one of the most spectacular experiences in Norway.  Upon arrival in Flåm, visit the Flåm Railway Museum to learn more about this feat of modern engineering. Then, cruise along the two branches of Norway's longest and deepest fjord. One of the branches, Nærøyfjord, was included in UNESCO’s World Heritage List in 2005.  Enjoy the impressive views at the Stalheim Hotel viewpoint and take in the fantastic mountain landscapes of the region. Return to Oslo late at night after a full day of exploration.

First, you'll be picked up from your hotel in the morning and begin the drive to Voss. From Voss, board the train heading to Oslo, stopping in Myrdal, from which the Flåmbana will take you the rest of the way. Then, along your journey from Voss to Flåm, take the scenic route through the picturesque landscapes of western Norway along the Flåm Line train route. See snow-capped mountains, lush green valleys, and crystal-clear rivers and lakes. As you arrive at Flåm, you’ll notice the fjord along the Aurlandsfjord that borders the city. Surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, and glaciers, this village offers a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and fishing. Next, walk along the harbor beside the traditional brightly-painted wooden houses. Enjoy a boat trip in the harbor after lunch to explore the fjord and surrounding islands, or enjoy visiting the village's shops, cafes, and restaurants. Then, use Flåm as a starting point for exploring the Sognefjord and its surrounding areas, including the Nærøyfjord, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Jotunheimen National Park, which is home to some of Norway's highest mountains. Finally, At the end of the cruise, your guide will meet you and start driving back to Bergen, where your day trip will conclude around 9 PM.

Flåm is a charming village surrounded by precipitous mountainsides, rumbling waterfalls, and narrow valleys. It is a  beautiful area to simply wander around, and whilst there you can also visit the Flåm Railway Museum. From Flåm the trip continues with the Flåm Railway, which is one of the world's steepest regular-track railway tracks. The 20-kilometer-long train journey gives you a panoramic view of some of the wildest and most magnificent of Norwegian mountain nature, including the famous Kjosfossen Waterfall. At Myrdal Station, your train will swap to the Bergen Railway which will take you to Voss. From there, a car will return you back to Bergen.
