The ferry was ferry nice, upscale and comfortable! I loved thang they had a coffee shop and bakery inside! Once the ferry took off, you could get up and move around throughout. We arrived at our destination in the allotted time and found our bus right away. The guide recommended a few famous photo places but never took us there, you were on your own. I would recommend you get all of your goods and souvenirs in Santorini main area because it’s significantly cheaper than when the guide took us to the lesser known city of Santorini. I was so glad I decided to do that. Disappointed I didn’t think to eat lunch there as I would have saved about €20 average. Everything was beautiful and the day was sunny and not so busy with tourists so getting great pics and seating to eat was easy! Well worth the money spent!

Santorini Tour from Heraklion Port, Crete.
Embark on a memorable tour to Santorini, one of the most stunning islands in the Aegean Sea. Your journey begins with a fast ferry cruise from Heraklion Port, with optional bus transfers available in Crete. The tour includes visits to the picturesque villages of Oia and Fira, guided by experienced professionals and supported by reliable ferries, buses, and local guides.

Tour Details
Morning Transfer (Optional):
If selected, our bus will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Heraklion Port. Your driver will provide a return ticket and your Crete bus number.

Ferry Check-In:
At Heraklion Port, present your GYG ticket and the additional ticket emailed to you. Be there at least 30 minutes before the trip begins by 07:30 am. You will receive your extra ticket the day before. You will collect your ferry tickets and Santorini tour bus number at the designated kiosk.

Fast Ferry to Santorini:
Departs at 8:00 AM the ferry takes 2 hours to reach Athinios Port in Santorini. Enjoy comfortable standard seating (pre-assigned) and an onboard snack bar with various food and drink options.

Santorini Tour Itinerary

Bus Guided Tour
During the bus tour of Santorini, your guide will share simple and interesting facts about the island. They’ll explain how a big volcanic eruption shaped Santorini’s famous cliffs, caldera, and black sand beaches.

As you travel, the guide will tell you about local traditions, like how wine is made from grapes grown in Santorini’s volcanic soil. Throughout the trip, the guide will make sure you know the best spots for photos and food, helping you enjoy every moment.

Oia Village (Free Time):
Begin your six-hour guided tour with a visit to Oia, famous for its whitewashed buildings, blue-domed roofs, and breathtaking views. You’ll have 1.5 hours of free time (season-dependent) to explore, shop, and capture perfect Instagram-worthy photos.

Fira Town (Free Time):
Next, travel to the capital of Santorini, perched on a dramatic 300m cliff. Stroll its narrow streets, enjoy traditional Greek cuisine in charming taverns, or shop for souvenirs. The town’s sunsets and vistas are unforgettable. You’ll have 2 hours of free time here.

Optional Volcano Cruise Starts on 20th of May:
During high season, you can opt for a 1.5-hour wooden boat cruise to Santorini’s volcano (at an additional cost). Note that choosing this option reduces your time in Fira. The decision is made on the Santorini bus,

Return Journey
After exploring Fira, return by coach to Athinios Port. Board the ferry back to Heraklion, where an optional bus transfer will take you to your hotel.

You must exchange your voucher at the Seajets Kiosk before the tour begins. The operator will exchange your ticket for the boat tickets. The boat ticket will mention the number of the bus in Santorini. Clients need to be there between 07:00 and 7:30 AM.

Tour option: Visit the volcano of Santorini (extra charge: €20). Participants will enjoy the unique beauty of the volcano and have the opportunity to swim in its hot springs. Availability is based on sufficient numbers.
The tour will be available from the beginning of the season in the following languages: English, French, German, and Polish from the end of April. We also offer it in Hungarian, Russian, and Romanian.
