This was one of the coolest experiences of my trip to Puerto Rico. I was picked up on time, and the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and supportive. Since I was traveling alone and didn’t have a partner, the guide reassured me that there was nothing to worry about and that they would take care of it. I was soon partnered with another participant, and luckily, he was a very nice person. I ended up really enjoying the whole experience without feeling anxious. It was a full moon night, so I wasn’t able to see much of the bioluminescence, but I did catch glimpses of sparks in the water, which was still pretty cool. Beyond that, I loved kayaking under the full moon and stars, enjoying the solitude of the night. I’d say this is a must-do tour while in Puerto Rico!
I highly recommend it! The guides were really friendly and committed to make us see the bioluminescence even if conditions were not the best. Additionally, kayaking through the mangrove turned out to be an awesome experience.
