The cruise ship (the MAGIC) was more luxurious than I expected, the food was delicious, and there were various events, so I enjoyed it very much. Water was charged, but the drinks were not too expensive, 60 pounds for 1.5 liters of water and 150 pounds for a small bottle of beer. There is also laundry service. Meals were buffet style for three meals, with a wide variety of dishes. Arabic food was also available and was delicious. The same seat is always assigned at the dining area. Small groups are seated together, but when I participated, I was seated with two Japanese groups on the same ship. However, even though it is a cruise, it is not always sailing, and the anchorage is long. The ships are anchored next to each other during anchorage, so you cannot see the view at all from the room. Also, the schedule of each ship seems to be basically the same, and the ports of call at Kom Ombo and the temples of Edfu are very crowded. (Tickets are charged separately, so you need to purchase them at the ticket counter or online during the crowds.) However, I think it is a big advantage that you can return to your room immediately after sightseeing and move around while leaving your large luggage in your room. Finally, the tour operator was very polite and answered our questions via WhatsApp. (The guides change from time to time, but they seemed to communicate well.) However, it was disappointing that I was charged an additional $300 for a single room 10 days before departure, even though I had made the reservation quite some time ago. I was told I could cancel, but since I couldn't change my plans at this time... I recommend that you check carefully to see if there are any additional costs. Also, the options (hot air balloon, etc.) seemed expensive compared to other companies. However, nothing beats the experience of relaxing on the Nile, so this is a recommended tour!

We booked an 8 day cruise, which is essentially the same as the 5 days cruise from Luxor to Aswan albeit you stay on the boat and cruise back. Although our Guide Adel arranged additional tours for us on return to Luxor. We managed to fit in additional trips such as the Nubian village for extra costs too, which was well worth it. We spent about the right time in each location. The boat was clean and staff attentive. Food is decent quality, although variations of the some things so gets a bit repetitive. There's entertainment in the evenings such as bellydancing, Nubian dancers etc. There were some extremely early 4AM starts, for the ballooning and Abu Simbel but the sunrise views are worth it. Otherwise most tours started at 0730, this did mean we beat the crowds to some temples though. The collection too and from the boat was pretty smooth and someone was waiting for us at Luxor. There were some negative points, but all in all was good value for money, and a good experience.

The cruise was great. The boat was clean, the staff very nice and the food very good. We visited a lot of temples and tombs with Haitham and 5 other people. We appreciated that it was a small group, we did not have to worry about transport and programme. Haitham was very nice and explained to us the history of all the places we visited. Haitham was a great guide, kind and he answered all our questions. So thank you very much!
