10.30 am: Arrive at Udawalawe National Park for an unforgettable half-day safari. Known for its thriving population of Sri Lankan elephants, the park also offers sightings of water buffalo, monkeys, lizards, and a variety of bird species. Occasionally, lucky visitors might spot a leopard. This 3-hour game drive immerses you in the park's rich biodiversity and scenic landscapes.
02.30 pm: Continue your journey to Yala and settle in for the night.

Day 02: Yala to Down South Beach (Approx. 3.5 Hours Drive)
5.30 am: Begin your day with an early morning safari at Yala National Park, one of Sri Lanka’s premier wildlife destinations. Renowned for its significant leopard population, Yala is also home to 32 mammal species, 125 bird species, and various other animals, including sloth bears, elephants, and wild water buffalo. During your Jeep safari, watch for unique species like the Red Slender Loris, Golden Palm Civet, and Fishing Cat while enjoying the park's stunning landscapes.
10.30 am: Depart Yala and head towards the idyllic beaches of Sri Lanka’s southern coastline.
11.30 am: Stop in Weligama to experience the traditional practice of stilt fishing. This centuries-old fishing method involves fishermen balancing on wooden poles in shallow waters. Observe this unique cultural tradition or try it yourself for a memorable experience.
