Activities With Elephant :-- 1. Meeting & Introduction:-- First Impressions: When meeting an Asian elephant for the first time, allow them to familiarize themselves with your scent. Foster comfort by gently stroking them, speaking softly, and making eye contact 2. Feeding the elephant:-- You may have heard the saying, 'the way to anyone's heart is through the stomach.' Elephants are no exception. Feeding them is the simplest way to earn their trust. During your experience, you'll have the opportunity to feed them while learning about their feeding habits and their favorite foods. 3. Mud Bath With Elephant - A Fun Session Engaging in a mud bath with elephants is a wonderful expression of our deep affection for these majestic creatures. Not only do elephants relish this experience, but it also promotes the health of their skin. The natural minerals in the mud will leave your skin feeling soft and cool, revitalized and cleansed. As you join these gentle giants in this playful tradition, they delight in splashing mud with their trunks, reveling in the pure joy of the moment. Together, amidst laughter and soft trumpets, a beautiful harmony with nature unfolds, filling the air with the earthy scent of a memorable connection. 4. Walking with the elephants in the village Rather than elephant rides, we advocate for a different experience at Elefantastic, where guests can walk alongside our elephants through our town. This initiative aims to set a precedent for raising awareness about elephant welfare. 5. Elephant washing & shower In the late afternoon, we engage in washing and scrubbing our elephants. For safety reasons aligned with guidelines from the Forest Department of India, we cannot allow guests into the lake with the elephants. Instead, you can participate in washing and scrubbing them at the sanctuary. During this activity, guests can observe the elephants, and if fortunate, experience the joy of being sprayed with water from an elephant's trunk. We would love to offer you our services as a Complete day with Elefantastic - our 'Jaipur in a day' experience. ● A little history for you - Jaipur, Rajasthan's capital, is an enthralling historical city and the gateway to India's most flamboyant state, known as the Pink City and founded in 1727 by Jai Singh II. the notable astronomer 260 years ago. This Raja King of Amber planned to shift his capital from Amber, some 11 km from Jaipur, to accommodate the growing population and increasing water shortage. He consulted with many architects and researched books while planning the layout of Jaipur, and work commenced in 1727, taking 4 years to complete all major roads, offices and palaces. The newly built city was divided into nine blocks - two for state buildings and palaces, and the remaining seven allocated for his public, built within large defensive walls and imposing gates. Today, this colorful city is a hub of activity, from the bustling roads with their buses, motorbikes, auto rickshaws and even camels. Yet in the midst of all this chaos, the splendours of Jaipur's majestic past evoke the relative calm of a different pace and another world. At the heart is the City Palace, a complex which houses a museum but the greatest part of it is still a Royal residence. Hawa Mahal, essentially a high screen wall built so the women of the Royal household could observe the street festivities without being seen.
